Drolet insert looks and works great in my fireplace opening

I purchased the Drolet 1800 insert. The unit came quickly and was well packaged. It took my some time to install, but when finally done I am very pleased. I had a few questions that I directed to Fyredirect and they promptly replied with what I needed. The stove looks great in my opening. I was able to have my first fire today and this thing is putting out a lot of heat. I was worried that the fan that comes with it would be annoying and loud but it is not. At its lowest setting you barely notice it. At the highest you hear it but it is not obnoxious. I look forward to using this a lot this and future winters.

Rack was easy to assemble and comes with 4 tools, poker, shovel, broom, and log tongs.

Great little stove!

Great stove for a smaller cabin or house. I have had several fires after getting it delivered a month ago and it works very well. I’m not sure about the definition of “maximum burn time”, but I get well over 5 hours. Most recent use I added two pieces of firewood at 10PM, closed damper and still had a good bed of glowing coals at 6AM.
Ordering and delivery were great and set up took about an hour, including unboxing and attaching the legs.
Very impressed with this stove, excellent value!
