We love our new Drolet stove. Ordering was quick and easy and the customer service was great. Delivery was slow and a little convoluted due to some sort of this party shipping, but that wasn't Fyre Direct's fault, and they were helpful the whole time.

Starting with Fyredirect, it was a seemless experience. I did not receive a tracking number but as soon as I reached out to them about it the stove was delivered. (They did send a tracking number immediately) I made plans to pick up the stove from the facility. I live way back in the woods so no truck can get down my long driveway. This was not an issue for the shipping company who allowed me to come pick it up. Once home I unloaded the stove easily with just a hand truck. The stove was in perfect condition with no damage. I cleaned my chimney flue myself and it was in great condition. Probably the most tedious part of the install was getting the liner in. I have a 22’ chimney in the middle of my house with a small bend in the flue. My terracotta tiles are 8x13 so the 6” liner had to be ovalized in order to fit. I had premade a jig that would ovalize it smoothly and evenly. I inserted the liner from the top and reached the bend easily. My wife pulled from the bottom from an attached rope and I worked it from the top. It took probably 10 minutes to get the liner through the bend and then it easily slid down the flue. I did have to cut my damper in order for the liner to pass through. I was able to get the stove in the fireplace opening relatively easily with a little help from my wife. I then made all connections and used fire rated caulk to ensure a good seal on all connections. I also installed fire rated insulation and a block off plate above the stove. I did purchase the hookup liner adapter to attach the liner to the stove, I highly recommend this. The installation of this stove is pretty straight forward and relatively easy. Just have a pre-plan of how you will get this done and anyone can install it. Once installed it was off and rolling. I have a great draft and not once has smoke spilled out into my house. The first couple of burns you can smell the new burning off the setup but this doesn’t last. Light the logs and leave door cracked about an inch and it will take off. Close the door and allow stove to get up to temp, for me that’s about 550 degrees. Set the damper and enjoy the reburn. This stove is very efficient using less wood. Produces hardly any smoke out of the liner and great heat. The blower works great and quiet. My house is a 2000 sq foot “A” frame and it heats my house just fine. The past couple days have been in the 20’s outside and it has held up with no issues. The glass door gives a good view of the fire inside. The glass has stayed clean so far. I fill it up when I go to bed around 7:00 pm and I’m up at midnight for work and it’s still putting off great heat. I reload it and head to work and my wife reloads it when she wakes up in the mornings with no issues. I will say this stove loves dry wood. It really likes wood below 18% so keep that in mind if you buy your firewood from people that say it’s seasoned. All in all it seems to be a great stove and I have no doubt it will provide heat for years to come. It’s not the most expensive stove out there but gives great value for what it provides. My one and only con is the firebox is a little small which will cause you to have to load more often than you probably would with a stove with a bigger firebox. However, loading the stove is part of the fun for me. I’m enjoying it and my wife loves it too. If your in the market for a wood stove and are considering this one rest assured it’s a great stove that produces great heat. Easy install and efficient. As far as Fyredirect, it was an easy transaction. Easy to order right online, took my money, and sent the stove relatively quickly with no issue. What else do you want????? Huge disappointment.

We have had a couple of small fires in our new stove. Seems to be well built and easy to use. Kept a consistent fire. Automatic fan control is very nice

The stove is great, works well and assembled easily. The only downside was the steatite plates were smaller than expected and they were delivered broken. I'm still waiting for the replacement pads.

Shipping was fast and insert was packaged great .

I never received the correct kit. They sent a trough the roof kit. They said they would send the correct one two weeks ago.

Got my stove installed on 11-2-25 and test fired it this morning. It was 40 here in East Tennessee and great for a fire. Everything went absolutely perfect. For a small amount of wood, the stove made a bunch of heat, the secondary was fabulous and no smoke out the pipe. I’m looking forward to freezing temps this Monday and Tuesday 11-10-25. I’ll be nice and warm…….

These pads are a great addition to the stove. I haven’t used them for cooking on but I do use them as a buffer between the stove top and the cast iron pans or pot I’m using. Saves the stove from being scratched. I highly recommend them

This stove rocks. Growing up on supplemental wood heat, it was so much fun as a kid. After months of research we landed on the Drolet Bistro. Ordered through fyredirect. Couldn’t be happier. Beautiful stove. Puts out heat really well. Looking forward to saving on power bills.

For the money, can’t beat it. I shopped around for a long time, no regrets at all. I have a very heavy stove (575 lb) and this pad holds up fine. Took me a second to understand how to connect the four pieces but it’s actually pretty easy. I’d buy it again. Recommend.

We got our Blackcomb II wood stove installed and are very pleased with it. Our architect recommended a Drolet Deco II. I did extensive online research and settled on this stove because it was my wife's preference over the Deco II (she likes the more traditional look of the Blackcomb over the Deco's modern look - personal preference, they are essentially equivalent). Shipping was timely; delivery was competent and professional, with a helpful driver and no issues. We had a professional install it, and he was complimentary of the stove's quality. We had fires over several days to temper the paint—being able to open the windows is a good thing. Getting a fire going had a learning curve the first few times, but once I got it, I had a nice fire in no time (crack the door until it is burning well). I am used to a north/south-loading stove and was a little apprehensive about the E/W loading, but it works well — no issues, takes a long log, and provides a nice view of the fire. It has a nice, cheery fire and keeps the house warm. I have an HVAC, so it is supplemental heat, but it keeps the place warm as long as it is burning. Fyre Direct is a great vendor. I highly recommend them.

Hey , it’s a fire screen and to be honest I never used it yet ,still working on installing the insert and liner ( waiting for my permit ), but what I can say it fits well and there is not many units you can buy that is screen is an option But my drolet 1500I did !

The Drolet 3000HT seemed to be the Best Buy for the price. Only had two little set backs
1. It was free freight which was great! However, it came on Fed Ex motor freight and took a painful two weeks from order to get. They threw in a couple free gadgets and one was a cacoon fan that sits on top of the stove and works off the heat of the stove. I have not reached out the the company yet, but the new fan no worry. We are very happy with our new purchase and it heats well

Just finished my third burn to wrap up the break in period. So far so good! I held it at 600* for a couple hours and then pushed it to 700* to make sure the burn off was mostly done. I like the minimalist aesthetics. The guy I used to install it pointed out that the guts looked like a higher end stove called Osburn. Turns out both brands are made by the same parent company. Basically, Drolet is a dressed down version of Osburn stoves, with basic finish details, but the guts like baffles etc are the same. I’m a value shopper and I’m very happy with the quality relative to price point on this unit. Time will tell but I suspect this stove will outlive me. Highly recommend the stove and very happy with Fyredirect.com - two thumbs up!

I installed this myself in an open fireplace that we wanted to make more efficient. I just did the first fire in it yesterday, and it was really nice to not waste all the heat up the chimney. The kit came with almost everything I needed. I also added insulation to the liner (a seperate kit) before installing it. The shipping through Fyre Direct was prompt, and it all arrived in great shape. It’s incredibly heavy, even with fire bricks and door removed, so plan to have help if you’re doing it yourself.

Arrived on time, one brick was broken, took photos, sent an email. Two new bricks arrived in a week. No complaints, very happy.

Great wood stove heats up our house wonderfully

Great experience from start to finish don't worry about damaged product the way they package the stove with basically a wooden box on a pallette securely nailed down takes longer to unpackage than to install.

The Drolet Bistro is just what I've been searching for. It's the perfect combination of wood stove look/feel and cooktop/oven capabilities. Living in an off grid cabin setting in the mountains for the last 15 years, I've relied heavily on cooking on the woodstove during the winter months. This stove will make life way better! The entire ordering process from Fyredirect was flawless. I had the stove within 7 days of ordering it and the communication regarding all the delivery logistics was awesome. It shipped by FedEx Freight and they worked directly with me and kept me updated every step of it's journey. I have worked on many projects in my lifetime (64 years) and I can honestly say I have never had anything run as smoothly as this order has. Five stars Fyredirect!
